Carp get a bad rap—but anyone who’s chased them seriously knows they’re smart, spooky, and an absolute blast on a fly rod. This upcoming HPD Carp Class & Fishing Trip, led by Trip Captain Chris B., is your chance to crack the code on one of the most challenging fish we target.

Chris will kick things off by sharing a few tried-and-true tips and tricks for spotting, approaching, and fooling carp that would rather embarrass you than eat your fly. From reading body language to making the right presentation, you’ll pick up insights that shorten the learning curve fast.

After the class, Chris will point out productive water and show you where to put those new skills to work. And if you ask nicely… there’s a good chance he might even help you hook and land your first carp—or your next one—because watching someone finally stick a carp never gets old.
