Hops & Hackle - Open Fly Tying

November 23, 2026 - 6:30 to 9:00 pm

Hogshead Brewery. 4460 W 29th Ave, Denver, CO 80212

Stop by, grab a beer, and hang out with fellow anglers for a relaxed, fun evening of fly tying and good conversation.

Whether you're hoping to tie a few new flies, learn a fresh pattern, improve your technique, or simply enjoy the company of other fly fishers, this is the perfect place to unwind.

The best part? This night is open to absolutely everyone—members, non-members, beginners, seasoned tiers, and anyone who’s just curious about the craft. There’s no cost at all to sit down and tie flies.

If you’ve never tied before, this is a great, low-pressure chance to give it a try.

We’ll have plenty of extra vices, tools, and materials ready for anyone who wants to jump in. Experienced tiers will be on hand to offer tips, share patterns, and help you get started.

Come for the tying, stay for the stories, and enjoy a night of learning, creativity, and community. We’d love to see you there!
