River Safety While Wading

Presented by Bob D.

Most river accidents don’t start big — they start with “one more cast” or “one more step.” In moving water, small decisions can escalate quickly.

At our March meeting, Bob D. will lead a practical discussion on river safety, with a focus on group trips and shared responsibility. We’ll cover current, foot entrapment, cold water realities, and simple habits that prevent most problems.

Rivers don’t care about experience — only physics.

Safety is shared. No fish is worth a rescue.

We fish together. We get home together.
